Overview
Scottish Indian Arts Forum (SIAF) was founded on August 17 1994 by an initiative from a handful of Indian and Scottish volunteers sincerely interested in promotion of Indian arts, culture and heritage in Edinburgh and East of Scotland through the media of music , dance, drama, literature, film, exhibition and popular festivals of India.
SIAF has always kept in the mind the need to promote INDIA and Indian culture not only for the benifit of the younger generation of Indian decent but the Scottish community at large as well. From the begining SIAF has successfully reached out to much wider audiences from the local community and has managed to get there active involvement in the organization and management of SIAF programmes.
